To install Elementary Tweaks:

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:versable/elementary-update
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install elementary-tweaks

To install Wingpanel Slim:

sudo apt-get install wingpanel-slim

Many of the packages in the PPA are quite useful, such as indicator-synapse.
